Tasks: Must complete WMATA Bus Operator  training program. Pay is $18 per hour for those with restricted CDL, $20 per hour for unrestricted CDL, $29.73 for unrestricted CDL and going through WMATA training. Must perform pre and post inspections of vehicles. Must learn and execute how to file an incident report, safely operate busses among designated routes, and continuously monitor the condition of the vehicles in their care.

Requirements: Must be at least twenty-one years old,  Licensed driver for a minimum of four (4) or more years, have a Commercial Driver's License or Learner's Permit with Passenger Bus and Airbrakes endorsement before starting Bus Training.

Driving record must reflect no more than two (2) moving violation and no suspension or revocation due to moving violations within the last three (3) years. Commercial Driver's License (must be acquired by the conclusion of the Bus training program)
